Why a scrunchie and not an elastic

A thin elastic concentrates all its grip on a narrow band of hair. That's where the crease comes from, and where the strands snap. A scrunchie holds the same amount of hair with the same firmness, spread over a much wider surface. Same ponytail, no kink, far less breakage.

• Thickened, high-stretch band — holds a full ponytail or a bun without sliding out
• Smooth fabric surface with no exposed metal join to catch on hair
• Wide enough to double as a wrist band between uses
• Fine for fine hair, thick hair, braids and wet hair
• Fibre composition: 100% polyester (as declared by the manufacturer)
• Hand wash in cool water, air dry. Don't tumble dry — heat kills the stretch.

• 5 pack, mixed — a starter set in an assortment of colours
• 10 pack, mixed — the sensible option; you will lose some
• 10 pack, black — for anyone who wants them to disappear rather than coordinate

Mixed packs are supplied in a random colour assortment, so the exact combination varies.

Safety

Not a toy. Keep away from children under 3. Do not tie around fingers, wrists or any part of the body tightly enough to restrict circulation, and do not place around the neck. Stop using a band once it has lost its stretch or the stitching has come loose.
