Get the oil on your scalp, not all over your hands. A bottle that parts hair as it pours, so treatment lands where it's meant to — at the root, along the part, exactly where you aimed it.

What's in the set

• Applicator bottle with comb tip — the silicone teeth part the hair while the nozzle releases product underneath. Squeeze, draw a line, move to the next section.
• Silicone root comb — works the product in and massages it down to the scalp, then combs the excess through to the ends.

How to use it

1. Fill the bottle with your oil, serum, or diluted treatment. Screw the comb tip back on.
2. Part your hair into sections, roughly an inch apart.
3. Rest the teeth on your scalp and squeeze gently as you draw the bottle along the part.
4. Work it in with the root comb, then comb any excess down through the lengths.

Why an applicator, not your fingers

Poured straight from the bottle, most of a scalp treatment ends up on your palms, your hair's mid-lengths, and your bathroom floor. Applied through a comb tip it goes on the scalp in a measured line — so a bottle of oil lasts considerably longer, and you can actually see which sections you've done.

Good to know

• Takes oils, serums, diluted apple cider vinegar, scalp tonics and liquid treatments
• Not suited to thick creams or masks — they won't pass through the nozzle
• Soft silicone teeth, safe on a tender scalp and on braids, locs or extensions
• Available as a Pink, Purple or White set
• Rinse the bottle and tip with warm soapy water after each use, especially with oils

Safety

Not a toy. Keep away from children under 3. For external use on hair and scalp only. Do not use on broken, irritated or sunburned skin. Follow the instructions of whatever product you put in the bottle, and patch test a new treatment before applying it all over. Keep away from eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. This is an applicator — it makes no treatment claims of its own.
