Xomiko Satin Ribbon Bow Clips — Long-Tail Bows

Why satin

Satin is the reason this works. It holds a shape without looking stiff, it catches light the way grosgrain and cotton don't, and — the part that matters — it slides against your hair instead of catching on it. A bow you clip in and pull out at the end of the day shouldn't cost you strands.

Why black

We stock one colour, deliberately. Black satin is the one that works with everything: over a suit, with a slip dress, with a jumper and jeans on a Tuesday. Coloured bows date and clash. Black reads as a choice rather than a phase.

Ways to wear it

• At the base of a low ponytail, tails hanging loose — the classic, and the reason these came back
• Halfway down a braid, so the tails move with it
• Clipped at the side of a half-up, holding the section back
• At the nape of a low bun, tails over the collar

• Spot clean only. Don't machine wash, don't iron the satin directly — press through a cloth on low if it creases.
