Xomiko Tweezer Set — Four Steel Tips for Brows and Strays

Four tips, because one shape can't do everything. Stainless steel, properly aligned, in a set that covers brows, strays and the splinter you'll get eventually.

What each tip is for

• Slanted — the everyday brow tool. The angled edge grips a hair along its length, so it comes out from the root rather than snapping.
• Pointed — for hairs too short or too fine for a slant to catch, and for ingrowns. Precise, and sharp enough to need care.
• Flat — the widest grip, for taking several hairs at once or gripping something stubborn.
• Curved — follows the curve of the brow bone, which makes the underside of the arch far easier to reach.

Why alignment is the whole game

A cheap tweezer fails in one specific way: the two tips don't meet cleanly. When that happens the hair slips out of the gap and you end up pinching skin and pulling repeatedly at the same spot. Tips that close flush catch the hair first time, which is less painful and far less irritating to the skin.

Good to know

• Four tips per set: slanted, pointed, flat and curved
• Stainless steel throughout — it won't rust in a bathroom
• Available in Silver, Black or Rose gold
• Wipe the tips with alcohol before and after use, especially for ingrowns

Safety

Not a toy. Keep away from children — the pointed tip is genuinely sharp. Clean the tips with alcohol before use. Pull in the direction the hair grows, not against it, to reduce breakage and ingrowns. Do not use over broken skin, moles, or inflamed areas. If a spot becomes red, swollen or painful after plucking, leave it alone and see a pharmacist. Never use the pointed tip near the eye itself.
